The Snake

Harry, the snake was gone.
Tom said, "Shhhh!" to the class. He found it again. He saw it marching towards the hole in the wall. He tried to catch it but it slid into the hole in the wall.
Miss Anderson was really angry.
Tom had an idea. He got some supplies from the classroom like Miss Anderson's lunch. He also got some paper, glue and wire, then he got the paper and glued it together, then he got the wire and tied it around the paper.
Finally Miss Anderson's lunch. The snake slowly slid across the green slimy soft rug. It took a bite then they put him back into the backpack.
"Don't bring a snake to school again," said Miss Anderson."

Well done, Caleb. You are having a go at using speech marks. Look at 'then' in your story - too many. Use words like, Next, After he got the paper, glue and wire, he glued the paper together. After it took a bite, they put it back in the backpack.

The Magic Show

There were two magic shows at our school.
First, this magic guy named Jonathan. He was funny. When he blew the balloon up, he swallowed it. We all cheered and clapped. 
My favourite part was when Jonathan swallowed the balloon.

After lunch, El Gregoe came. He talked about antibullying - a bully-free school. He did do a little bit of magic. 
At the end of the show, they did the floating man. My favourite part was the floating man.

The Birthday of the Church

The Church is people spreading the good news. Before Pentecost, the followers of Jesus locked themselves in a room. They didn’t talk about Jesus because they didn’t want to get arrested by the guards, then the Holy Spirit came down to them. Flames popped up on their heads and they got courage. When they came out of the room, they began to spread the Good News.

Tigers

Giggle! Giggle! Giggle! As the tiger pounced onto the window, Waylon started laughing loudly.

On Tuesday, we drove to the Hamilton Zoo because we had filled the marble jar up. We had to investigate if the zoo is a good place for animals.

"Those tigers look really fierce," I thought. Next, one of them jumped onto the window. Waylon started to giggle again. After that, the tiger jumped off the window. The tigers' tails were orangey orange and as black as dirt. Their whiskers were as white as snow and their tongues were as red as blood. Next, the tiger jumped on the window again, then it jumped off and walked away.
